Hello! I’m Loren. I am a freelance project manager and mixed media artist. In 2015, I graduated with a BA in both International Business and Marketing from Florida International University in Miami, FL. Since then, I’ve been traveling and working (in-person and remotely) for people and on projects that interest and inspire me.
I’m currently working at Verde Valley School, an international boarding school in Sedona, AZ, which brings together students from all over the world to live, work and study.
Before VVS, I worked with the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization. I still volunteer for NAMI and am dedicated to empowering all who have been affected by mental illness through advocacy, awareness, education, and support.
Other things I’ve gotten myself into: Managing a community of over 300 startups, working at the world’s first global co-living company as Head of Happiness (yeah, that’s a thing), managing multiple art galleries, coordinating exhibitions for Art Basel Miami Beach, coordinating production logistics for an aerospace manufacturer, planning activities for her older friends in the nursing home, designing everything from an event poster for a vegan food festival in London to merch for a yoga convention, assisting in creating a program for college students with developmental disabilities to receive legal services, medical services and a support system that focuses on academics, social activities, employment, and independent living.
In my spare time, I make art (that you can own). I also have a healthy addiction to shows with 1 star ratings.
I am currently not available for freelance projects, but I am always up for coffee.
